TeamMates prepare Christmas goodie bags; mentors needed

OSMOND — On Sunday, Dec. 6, the local TeamMates chapter met at school for their annual Christmas Activity. This year, the chapter decided to prepare Christmas goodie bags for all students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Pairs of mentors and mentees had a fun time preparing the bags for distribution to students on the last day of school before the Christmas vacation starts.

“The TeamMates chapter currently has 21 active matches,” said TeamMates Advisor Beth Manzer. “There are six mentees (students) waiting to be matched; but at the present time, there are not mentors for these students. If you are an individual who cares about today’s youth, please consider becoming a mentor!”
