Students to participate in All-state Band

PALMER - Class D All-State Band will be held on Saturday, March 20, in Palmer. Four Osmond students were selected to participate this year. They are: Allison Aschoff on clarinet, Kaden Polt on trumpet, Connor von Rentzell on euphonium, and Kenzie von Rentzell on mallet percussion.

Band instructor Christalin Ginn commented, “Normally this event is held on UNK’s campus, but because of COVID-19 restrictions, it has been moved to Palmer’s school. Their concert is set for 4:30 p.m. in their gymnasium. Each student has been allowed three guests for the concert. This is a huge honor for these students, as they auditioned with other Class D students all around the entire state of Nebraska.”
