Students participate in ‘Connect the Dots’

PIERCE — On Tuesday, Dec.10, 83

participated in the Nebraska Extension Connect the Dots Program. Connect the Dots is an interactive career exploration program that is designed to help ninth grade students learn more about careers of interest as well as how to “connect the dots” from ninth grade through postsecondary study to the workplace.

Students spent the day going through a simulation where they were able to talk with local professionals in their area of interest and find out what steps they will need to take to get where they are wanting to go. Students also got the opportunity to look over resumes in preparation of constructing their own and took a personality test.
