Student Council members deliver tie blankets to hospital
OSMOND – The senior Student Council members of Osmond High School delivered tie blankets to Osmond General Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The 7-12 students assembled the tie blankets during the morning activities that were held before dismissing for winter break.
The students enjoyed working on this project as a way to give back to the community.
Hospital officials commented, “Thank you to Osmond Community School staff and students for their generous donation of 24 tie blankets made by the students. These blankets will be handed out to cancer and hospice patients in our Comfort Care Kits.”
They continued, “If you have a family member, friend, or know of someone who could use a ‘Comfort Care Kit,’ please fill out the postcard – available at the hospital – and mail it to Osmond General Hospital, P.O. Box 429, Osmond, NE 68765, or call (402) 748-3393.
