Speech team members place at Hartington

HARTINGTON — The Osmond High School speech team started off their season by participating in the Hartington speech invitational on Saturday, Jan. 30. Here are the results of the competition:

Junior Varsity Poetry — Erica Heiman, fifth place

Oral Interpretation of Drama — Allie Aschoff, Connor von Rentzell, Kaden Polt, Riley Wagner, Erica Heiman, first place

Serious Prose — Connor von Rentzell, fourth place

Poetry — Riley Wagner, fifth place

INFORMATIVE CHAMPS FINALS — fifth place, Kenzie von Rentzell

HUMOROUS PROSE CHAMPS FINALS — second place, Kaden Polt
