Second annual Fun Run includes scavenger hunt
OSMOND — The Second Annual Osmond Volleyball 5K Fun Run, held Monday, Aug. 10, had an excellent turn-out with approximately 80 runners/walkers.
This year, a scavenger hunt was created in which participants had to take pictures of various items throughout the route. If a participant had all five of the pictures needed, they were placed in a drawing for a 2020-21 single sports pass. This year, the winner was Kayla Hoffman.
“We had several individuals offer donations and not walk which is extremely generous,” commented organizer Tiffany Rice. “In addition, some who did walk, received donations to turn in from individuals in the community who were outside watching everyone go by. This year the run brought in $900, which will go towards expenses for camps and equipment purchases.”
