School sets graduation date, announces several virtual events

RANDOLPH — Things will look a little different here, but some big school events will still go on this summer.

Randolph High School commencement ceremonies have been set for July 25 at 2 p.m. If an in-person graduation ceremony cannot be held on this date, then a virtual ceremony will be held, said Randolph High School Principal Brandi Bartels.

Prom will be held on July 21, starting at 7 p.m., but no grand march will be held this year.

Randolph High School administrators have announced several other important dates for various activities.

The dates include several “virtual events,” which allow for students and their friends and family to watch activities, but not participate directly in them.

On May 1, the school is planning a Virtual Awards Ceremony for Randolph High School students

On May 9 there will be a Diploma Pick up and Virtual Scholarship Announcements for the 2020 Graduates.

The Diploma Pick up will be at the school but due to restrictions placed on the school, this will not be an event open to the public.

Community members will be able to drop off Graduation Cards for the graduates from May 3-5. Those cards will be distributed to the graduates with their diplomas on May 9.

On May 14, a - Virtual Awards Ceremony for Randolph Jr. High Students will be held.
