RANDOLPH — Paul Schmit was re-elected as School Board President Monday, and the Board approved a new contract for Supt. Jeff Hoesing.

Also elected Monday were: Vice President, Jim Scott; Secretary/Treasurer, Sandy Owens; Recording Secretary, Tiffany Kalin.

Hoesing’s new contract is set at $132,500 for the 2020-2021 school year.  Details of the contract may be found under the superintendent’s corner on the website under proposed changes to contract heading.

As part of their annual reorganization meeting, the Board also voted to make the school depository First State Bank. Owens and Lisa Linville abstained from voting on the bank selection due to conflict of interest for the two board members.

The official newspaper will continue to be The Randolph Times. The school’s legal representation is PGH & G Law Firm. The board also appointed board committees and decided to retain them as last year.

Randolph school board members met Jan. 20 at the west school and approved two volunteer coaches Jared Gubbels for wrestling and Mandy Papenhausen for girls basketball.
