Salute to seniors is this Friday

OSMOND — In honor of the Class of 2020, for whom the usual end-of-year activities like prom and graduation have been postponed, Osmond Community School officials are hosting a salute to the class.

As many other schools across the country have been doing, OHS will “shine a light of recognition for seniors” on the football field, beginning at 8:20 p.m. on Friday evening, May 1. Friday is the seniors’ last day of high school.

The school will turn the lights on the football field at 8:20 p.m. for 20 minutes so people can drive by and honk in honor of the Class of 2020. For those who have not heard about this event, the time was chosen because in military time, it is 20:20.

Parents and patrons of the community are welcome to drive by at this time and honk to salute the Osmond High School seniors.
