Randolph One Act play competes at District meet

RANDOLPH — The Randolph One Act members traveled to Pawnee City on Monday, November 30, to compete in districts.

Twenty-four members performed the play “Clemson Bartholomew” in which they placed fourth overall.

Pawnee City placed first to win the District title and ended up State Champions on Dec. 9. All three judges gave Randolph superior ratings, the top ranking on the ballot.

Erin Engel, Alex Heiman, Brianna Sporleder, Anton Feyerherm, Keely Pinkelman, Abby Schmit, and Tyson Junck received Outstanding Acting awards. the play, they said the tech crew did an outstanding job as well. Jenna Albers, Nicole Haselhorst, and Gracie Eledge were in charge of lighting and Grace Nordhues took care of the music.

It truly takes an entire crew to give a performance congratulations to everyone involved.
