Prom is Saturday; king, queen candidates are announced

OSMOND — The 2021 Osmond High School Prom will take place on Saturday, April 17, at the city auditorium.

This year’s prom theme is Golden Gala. Festivities will begin with the junior-senior meal, catered by 3rd Street Bar and Grill, at 6 p.m. The grand march and coronation will be at 7 p.m.

For the safety of the students, the city auditorium will be closed to the general public for the grand march and coronation. Only immediate families of juniors and seniors who are attending prom and parents of class attendants will be allowed inside the city auditorium for the coronation and pictures. The grand march will begin at the city library to allow more people to view the grand march as the seniors walk across the street and enter the city auditorium.

The dance will be held from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., with music by Complete Music. After the dance, post-prom activities will follow at the school, beginning at 12:30 and ending at 3 a.m.

This year’s king candidates are Austin Vinson, son of Clark and Mary Vinson; Blake Bahr, son of Jason and Rhonda Bahr; Graysen Schultze, son of Tim and Erin Schultze; Johnson Chishiba, son of Rodgers Chishiba and Alice Shomari, and Brenden Gillespie, son of Matt and Christina Gubbels.

Queen candidates are Tessa Dominguez, daughter of Chad Dominguez and Brenda Acklie; Allie Aschoff, daughter of Joe and Angie Aschoff; Aleynah Gray, daughter of Stacy Gray; Samantha DeLaCruz, daughter of Gerardo and Olga Herrera; Hayle Krienert, daughter of Nick and Jenni Krienert.

Attendants are: ninth grade, Caydance Krienert and Owen Severson; 10th grade, Kane Ferry and Darren Kelly; 11th grade, Macy Albrecht and Patrick Vinson.
