Poinsettia sales bring Wausa closer to new playground

WAUSA — Wausa Elementary held a poinsettia fundraiser with Janets Jungle selling 372 poinsettias. The goal is to raise money to make improvements and add ADA complant equipment to the playground. There was such success with this fundraiser that they will be doing a plant and seed sale in April, also with Janets Jungle.

The three top sellers were Adalyn Kumm -26, Ben Barta -23, and Cruz Key -22.

The 372 poinsettias that were sold brougt in $2,286.00 for the new playground.

Every poinsettia sold made a difference. The Wausa Parent Council would like to say “thank you” to each and every kid that made a sale and also to every person who made a purchase.
