Personal Finance students participate in mock interviews

WAUSA — The Personal Finance class participated in mock interviews March 10. Business professionals from the surrounding area were invited to Wausa Public Schools and held practice interviews for the class. The interviews were both fun and stressful. But above all, the mock interviews were impactful.

The opportunities to participate in an event like this strengthened the class’ abilities and was able to create stronger job candidates of every student who participated.

The Wausa FBLA Chapter and the Personal Finance class appreciates the assistance of all who participated. The lessons the students attained will be crucial in their quickly approaching futures. Without help from such a strong surrounding community, Wausa students would lack many of their “career-ready” skills.

Taylor Kumm chaired this event and Isabelle Vanness and Kaitlyn Kumm assisted.  It took a lot of planning and organizing to make this activity a success.
