Osmond Homecoming festivities are to be held Friday

OSMOND — Homecoming 2021 will be held this Friday, Sept. 17. Homecoming queen candidates are Molly Beacom-Timmerman, daughter of Michelle Beacom and Daniel Timmerman; Macy Aschoff, daughter of Jason and LaVail Aschoff; Lillie Gansebom and Grace Gansebom, daughters of Patrick and Roberta Gansebom, and Riley Wagner, daughter of Chris and Robin Wagner.

King candidates include Bryan Solorzano, son of Ruben Solorzano and Esperanza Vargas; Kaden Polt, son of Kurt and Sarah Polt; Patrick Vinson, son of Nathan and Terin Vinson; Hunter Beacom, son of Shane and Cindy Beacom, and Ryan Schmit, son of John and Carol Schmit.

The theme for Homecoming 2021 is “Glow, Fight, Win.” Students decorated the hallways on Tuesday afternoon.

Spirit week themes are Red, White and Blue Day on Monday; Movie Character Day on Tuesday, USA Day on Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Orange and Black Day on Friday.

There will be a pep rally on Thursday at 7 p.m. on the football field to introduce the homecoming court. 

Coronation will take place during halftime of the Osmond-Winside football game with pictures to follow on the football field after the game. 

The dance will take place in the school cafeteria from after pictures are taken to 12 a.m. The DJ is Complete Music out of Lincoln.
