One Book, One School program begins at Randolph Elementary School
RANDOLPH — For the month of February, Randolph Elementary students will be reading “Almost Super,” by Marion Jensen, as part of the school’s “One School, One Book” reading project. It is a cleverly written story that will engage both children and adults as they follow the adventures of the Bailey brothers and Juanita Johnson who must find a way to become heroic when their promised superpowers turn out to be duds.
Each family received a copy of the book, and a reading schedule. To stimulate attentive listening, students will answer daily vocabulary and story trivia questions. All students will celebrate their own superpowers at the end of the month.
