OHS announces prom king, queen candidates
OSMOND — The 2022 Osmond High School Prom will take place on Saturday, April 2, at the city auditorium with the theme “Nashville Nights.”
Festivities will begin with the junior-senior meal at 6 p.m., catered by Tinker’s of Pierce. The grand march and coronation will be at 7 p.m. According to Principal Kurt Polt, there are no restrictions because of COVID-19 this year.
The dance will be held from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with music by Complete Music. After the dance, students will travel to The Drop Zone in Sioux City for post-prom activities.
This year’s king candidates are Hunter Beacom, son of Cindy and Shane Beacom; Kaden Polt, son of Sarah and Kurt Polt; Ryan Schmit, son of Carol and John Schmit; Bryan Solorzano, son of Esperanza Vargas and Rueben Solorzano, and Bodie True, son of Patty and Grant True.
Queen candidates are Macy Aschoff, daughter of LaVail and Jason Aschoff; Molly Beacom-Timmerman, daughter of Michelle Beacom and Dan Timmerman; Grace Gansebom, daughter of Robbie and Pat Gansebom; Lillie Gansebom, daughter of Robbie and Pat Gansebom, and Holly Jensen, daughter of Tracy Jensen and Mitch Jensen.
Attendants are: ninth grade, Keely Gubbels and Jaxon Vinson; 10th grade, Ines Arnal and Dominic True; 11th grade, Reese Johns and Robert Aschoff.
