LCC students take part in Honor Band

HARTINGTON — The Lewis and Clark Conference Honor Band was held at Hartington Newcastle Public School on Saturday, Jan. 25. 

The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge students participating were: 9-10 band members: Izabella Kock-flute; Sarah Karnes and London Van Cleave-clarinet; Sidney Groene-alto saxophone; Delaney Hall-baritone; Dillon Olson-percussion and 11-12 Band Members: Trace Naeve-alto saxophone; Cody Martin-barai saxophone; Ethan Cross and Tyler Lubberstedt-trumpet; Israhel Vance-trombone; Kaden Swanson-tuba; Matthew Nelson-percussion. Students receiving first chair medals were: Dillon Olson; Tyler Lubberstedt; Israhel Vance; Kaden Swanson; and Matthew Nelson. Students receiving second chair medals were: Sidney Groene; Delaney Hall; Trace Naeve; and Cody Martin. 

During the concert, plaques were given out for concert attendance to both the Lewis and the Clark sides of the conference. 

The Lewis side plaque went to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and the Clark side plaque went to Bloomfield. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge high school band members earned nine conference medals and the Lewis side attendance award.
