LCC students make All State Band

LAUREL — LCC will be well represented this year at the Class C All State Band performance.

The event will be held March 20 at the Kearney High School.

Students are chosen for this state honor through a recorded audition procedure.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge sent in eight auditions by seven boys. All seven boys were selected for Class C State Honor Band in four different ensembles as follows:

Those earning an invitation to the event were:

Junior High State Band: Derek Nelson-batter percussion Symphonic Band: Trace

Naeve-bari sax; Tyler Lubberstedttrumpet; Landen Leonardbaritone

Percussion Ensemble: Matthew Nelson and Dillon Olson (only seven chosen for this group)

Wind Ensemble: Deagan Puppe-French horn Deagan also auditioned on trumpet.

At this time each participant may have two tickets for the concert which is subject to change.
