LCC Speech team gets new season off to a good start
WISNER — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge speech season is underway officially. They competed at the Wisner-Pilger Practice Makes “Perfekt” Invite. As a sign of the times, the Bear speaker performed in Laurel virtually for their judges around the state. The Bears rose to this challenge and performed well throughout the day. The goal of this meet is to help the kids get feedback and extra practice performing in front of others. To add to the fun, Wisner-Pilger gives out random trophies to medalists. This year second-seventh place received old rodeo and 4-H trophies, while the champions each received a championship brick from Wisner’s old main street.
