LCC soloist citation awards

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge band members Kolby Casey, Deagan Puppe, and Sidney Groene received soloist citation awards for their jazz improvization solos during the LCC Jazz Band performance at the Coyote Jazz Festival on Tuesday, March 22, in Vermillion, S.D. Kolby Casey played two bari saxophone solos. Deagan Puppe played two trumpet solos and one flugelhorn solo. Sidney Groene played two alto saxophone solos. The jazz band played “In the Mood” by Michael Sweeney; “Hold on to Love” by Larry Neeck; and “Back in  the Day” by Neeck.
