Kumm selected to FBLA executive committee position

Wausa — Nebraska FBLA is excited to announce the introduction of State Executive Committees.

The current state officers were looking for active members to consider applying to four different positions within three areas focused on Service, Education and Progress. Local members who were looking to get more involved in FBLA, talented with media, or interested in running for a state office were highly encouraged to apply.

Kaitlyn Kumm decided to take advantage of this opportunity and applied. On November 13, She was notified Nov. 13 that she was selected and will be on the Progress Committee working directly with Alek Timm, State President, and Morgan Mills, State Secretary.

Kumm has the title of Productions Director and joins Megan Wallman from Syracuse as the Executive Assistant, Joseph Hiatt from Boyd County as the Communications Director, and Sydney Kunz from Elmwood-Murdock as the Media Director. The goal of this committee will be to assist chapters in recruitment strategies and increase involvement in state programs. As the Productions Director, Kumm will develop videos and broadcasts for usage in promoting programs.

This will be a great opportunity for Kumm to work hand-in-hand with the officer team,a network with members from across Nebraska, and boost her resume.
