Herrera, Gutz are the 2020 Homecoming Queen, King

OSMOND — Homecoming festivities were held in Osmond last Friday, Sept. 25, after first being postponed, then reinstated when guidelines regarding COVID-19 were changed.

A brief pep rally was held on State Street in front of city hall on Friday afternoon. After the band, students and instructors marched downtown, king and queen candidates were announced and several musical numbers were performed before the group returned to school.

Elisa Herrera and Connor Gutz were named Osmond’s 2020 Homecoming Queen and King during coronation ceremonies held during halftime of the Osmond-Randolph football game on Friday night. Atlas Kelly and McKenzie Riley were chosen from the kindergartners as crown bearers.
