Getting ready for the ghouls
Pumpkins, trick or treating and parties, it’s time for Halloween activities. One of the fun things to do to get ready for Halloween is carving pumpkins. The pre-school class at Judy Kvols Learning Pre-School did just that recently. After the top was cut, the kids could dig out all the pumpkin “gunky stuff” and separate the seeds out. Then the kids could start decorating the outside of the pumpkin. Lots of giggles were heard as the kids enjoyed this special Halloween activity. Ada Lipp (above) giggles with excitement as she sticks her arm in the pumpkin, while Emily Erwin is ready to put hers in next. Jack Kvols, Lena Brummels and Hannah Fuoss have fun getting their hands covered with the “gunky stuff” and seeds. Emily Erwin, Jack Kvols and Lena Brummels (right) take turns digging the “gunky” stuff out of the middle of the pumpkin.
