Fifth, sixth grade girls complete season

OSMOND — Osmond’s fifth and sixth grade girls’ volleyball team was combined this year. There were 11 girls who made up this team.

Their first two games were against Randolph sixth grade, where they won a game and lost a game. Their third game was against Wausa sixth grade, where they took away a win.

In the fourth game for this team, they played against Santee and won again. In their fifth game, they battled Plainview sixth and had one win and one loss.

In their seventh game, Osmond fifth and sixth played against Wausa fifth and took away another win. Osmond then played against Plainview fifth, where they also won.

This brought them to the championship, where they first had to go up against Randolph sixth. That resulted in a win, and their last game was against Plainview sixth, where they won the game to win first place.
