(By Denise Schmit)
OSMOND — The sixth graders performed a wax museum exhibit on Monday, March 22. Each student researched a famous American in history.
After writing a report, designing a learning poster, and putting together a costume, each class member became that person in the wax museum.
Guests who came to the museum could bring the character to life to talk about themselves for a quarter. The sixth graders chose to donate all proceeds to veterans and Sons of the American Legion groups.
Characters in the museum were:
Alexa Aschoff — Mary Lincoln
John Broekmeier — Wild Bill Hickok
Carson Davids — John Hancock
Kooper Gubbels — Andrew Jackson
Junior Herrera — Paul Revere
Klaire Johnson — Elizabeth Keckley
Alec Kester — Squanto
Delilah Koehler — Sacajawea
Deanna Kumm — Pocahontas
Addison Miller — Abigail Adams
Ava Severson — Elizabeth Cady Stanton
Addi von Rentzell — Susan B Anthony
Instructor Denise Schmit — Betsy Ross
