Class of 2020 will finally get to turn their tassels Sunday

Greiner, Lemmons are Valedictorian, Salutatorian

RANDOLPH — The end of a long journey is finally near for 18 Randolph High School seniors.

The Randolph High School Class of 2020 will hold a graduation ceremony on Sunday, July 26, at 2 p.m. in the Lyle Nannen Memorial Gymnasium.

Because of COVID-19 precautions, Randolph Public School administrators are asking that all guests be personally responsible, maintaining six-feet of social distancing while going to and while at the ceremony.

Masks are also recommended while in the school.

Health Department guidelines mandate that there will be no receiving line this year.

Abreanna Greiner is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2020. She is the daughter of Scott and Amber Greiner of Randolph.

Samuel Lemmons will be the class Salutatorian. He is the son of Tim and Jennifer Lemmons of Randolph.

The Class of 2020 has chosen a line from a Tim McGraw song as their class motto “Chase your dreams, but always know the road that’ll lead you home again.”

Red Black and White are their class colors with Yellow and Orange Global Rose as their class flower.

The following are the members of the Class of 2020: Keaton Backhaus, Allison Folkers, Levi Frederick, Abreanna Greiner, Carson Gubbels, Becky Hammond, Dylan Kalkowski, Trenton Kiefer, Harley Kyles, Samuel Lemmons, Jordan Mavis, Noah Mosel, Kayla Nordhues, Ethan Olson, Carter Schnoor, Abbie Steffen, Jamison Svehla, and Bobbi Winkelbauer.
