Beef in Schools program at Randolph

RANDOLPH — In conjunction with the statewide “Beef in Schools” program, livestock producers in the Randolph area have organized to increase the offering of locally raised beef and pork in our school lunches. Donating only young and healthy market animals, these producers have ensured that the grade of the local meat exceeds USDA requirements for quality, safety and taste. Processing is done locally by Wausa Lockers, a USDA inspected facility that is known for their high quality and outstanding customer service. Once again, the prime cuts of the donated meat have been set aside for sale to patrons. These beef bundles will be auctioned off during halftime of the Girl’s Randolph vs Wausa basketball game on Friday, Jan. 17th .
