2021-22 School calendar presented to board

OSMOND — At the Monday, March 8, meeting of District 42R Board of Education,the administrators presented to the board the following calendar for the 2021-22 school year.

2021-22 Calendar

Aug. 9-1 — Teacher Inservice 12 — First of school; 1

Aug. 12 — First day of school; 1 p.m. dismissal

Sept. 6 — Labor Day; no school

Sept. 15 — Teacher in-service, 10 am. late start

Oct. 15 — End of first quarter

Oct. 18 — Parent-teacher conferences, 12:30-8 p.m.; no school

Oct. 19 — Begin second quarter

Oct. 29 — No school, fall break

Nov. 3 — Teacher in-service; 10 am. late start

Nov. 23 — 1 p.m. dismissal

Nov. 24-28 — Thanksgiving break

Dec. 1 — Teacher in-service; 10 am. late start

Dec. 21 — End first semester; 2:08 p.m. dismissal

Dec. 22 - Jan. 5 — Christmas break

Jan. 4 — Teacher workday

Jan. 5 — Begin second semester; Classes resume —

Jan. 17 — Teacher in-service, no school

Feb. 9 — Teacher in-service, 10 am. late start

March 4 — No school (girls’ state basketball)

March 10 — End third quarter 11

March 11 — No school (boys’ state basketball)

March 14 — Begin fourth quarter

April 14 — Dismiss for Easter, 2:08 p.m.

April 15-18 — Easter break

April 20 — Teacher in-service, 10 am. late start

May 7 — Graduation, 2 p.m.

May 18 — End of second semester, 1 p.m. dismissal

May 19-20 — Teacher in-service and checkout
