Wausmond is one-act conference champ

WYNOT – The Wausmond cast and crew traveled to Wynot on Tuesday, Nov. 16 to compete in the Lewis and Clark Conference One Act Play contest in the Clark division.

Wausmond earned top conference honors by bringing the conference championship home to the communities of Osmond and Wausa.

Eleven members of the Wausmond cast were awarded conference acting awards by the judges. The Lewis and Clark annually awards two female and two male outstanding performance awards.

Darla Nelson of Wausa was awarded a female outstanding per formance award and Kaden Polt of Osmond was awarded a male outstanding performance award.

Next performance will be in Wausa at the C1 3 District One Act Contest on Monday, Nov. 29. Wausmond is scheduled to perform at 9 a.m. and the contest is open to partne the public with paid admission.
