Wynot girls rally back to beat Randolph
RANDOLPH — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils built a 22-11 first-half advantage in their Friday basketball game only to see Randolph’s Lady Cardinals wipe it out in the third quarter.
Randolph couldn’t maintain that momentum for the entire second half, though as state-rated Wynot was able to regroup and hang on for the 37-34 win.
The win boosts Wynot’s season record to 6-1, while the Cards fell to 3-5 with the loss.
Randolph was led by Jaiden Taylor and Cindy Haselhorst who both hit for 10 points. The duo also pulled down six rebounds each to lead the team on the boards, as well.
