After earning a bye in the first round, Scott pinned Colton Horne of Doniphan-Trumbull in the quarterfinals, and pinned Hunter Green of Meridian in the semifinals. Scott was pinned in the title match by Carl Mundt of Nebraska Christian with just three seconds left in the third round. Scott is 7-1 so far on the season.
