RHS athletes earn medals at Trojan Invite

HARTINGTON — The Randolph boys and girls track teams combined for 13 medals in action last week at the Trojan Invitational in Hartington.

The Randolph boys finished sixth out of eight teams and were led by Keaton Backhaus and Dalton Rath, who combined for five of the boys’ six medals on the day.

Backhaus earned third-place finishes in the triple jump (39-10) and 300-meter hurdles (47.6) and tied for sixth in the high jump at 5-8.
