Lady Cards fall against N-O, Wausa

WAUSA — The Lady Cards dropped a pair of contests last week.

Randolph fell on the road Tuesday to Neligh-Oakdale. The Lady Cards then hosted Lewis and Clark Conference foe Wausa Thursday, falling in four sets.

It looked as though the Lady Cards would make quick work of Wausa Thursday. The Big Red raced out to a good lead, then earned the 25-18 first-set win.

The second set didn’t go as well, though. Wausa started the set with an ace serve. The two teams then traded points evenly until the Lady Vikings hit another ace serve to take a 5-3 lead.
