Cards battle their way to tourney title
RANDOLPH — The Randolph boys basketball team worked a little overtime Friday and made a fourth-quarter comeback Saturday to work their way to the championship in the Randolph Holiday Tournament at Randolph High School.
In action Friday, the Cardinals needed to work a little harder to outlast Winside and come away with a 64-53 win.
Randolph led early in the game, but Winside rode the hot shooting of JaShaun Vyborny, who hit a tournament-record nine 3-pointers to help keep the Wildcats in the game.
