Backhaus leads Randolph tracksters
MADISON — Randolph’s Keaton Backhaus won two individual golds at the April 16 Madison Invite.
Backhaus put together a leap of 41-9 to win the triple jump. He also broke the tape first in the 300-meter hurdles to win that event in 42.98.
He was followed across the finish 300-meter finish line by teammate Noah Scott, who finished the race in 43.05 to earn the silver.
