Jazz band earns fourth place at Coyote Jazz Festival

 VERMILLION, SD — The Randolph Jazz Band takes home a 4th place trophy and three students earn soloist awards at Coyote Jazz Festival at USD on March 12.  Shannon Haselhorst - Alto Sax, Gabe Wortman- Bari Sax, and Lily Umberger-Trombone all were given soloist awards for the Coyote Jazz Festival.  In order to earn a soloist award a student has to be nominated by two of the 3 judges.

This is the 14th Jazz Trophy earned in the past 9 years.
