Ag in the Classroom pen pal visits with fourth graders

RANDOLPH — Ag in the Classroom penpal, Anita Keys, stopped by on Thursday, Oct. 4 to visit the fourth grade Social Studies class. Through her slideshow presentation, the students learned about the differences in crops, landscape, and soil from her home on a ranch near Elsmere, NE to theirs in Randolph. The students enjoyed her beef jerky and cinnamon pickles. They look forward to continuing their communication with Mrs. Keys throughout the year as they study the Great Plains region and Nebraska history.
