Randolph is hit hard by flood waters

RANDOLPH — Flood waters raced through Randolph last Wednesday, flooding streets and some homes and businesses.

The raging waters also forced the evacuation of some residents in low-lying areas. Those people were able to return to their homes late Wednesday, however.

The concern was the Middle Logan Creek that runs through Randolph. Randoph Volunteer Firemen placed sandbags around residents close to the creek and watched it closely throughout the night Wednesday and again Thursday morning.
