Flood Plain discussion draws a crowd

RANDOLPH — Frustrated homeowners, an attentive city council and a full meeting room at the Randolph City Council meeting June 5 were given an update on the flood plain project.

“This has been so hard,” Tammy Gosch, a landowner affected by the project, said during an allowed comment period. “These are people’s homes. This is my home. We need to know what’s going on.”

The project will widen approximately 1.4 miles of the Middle Logan Creek channel and modify six bridges to reduce flood threats in the Randolph area.
