Tigers advance to finals, are conference champs

With three consecutive wins in the Lewis and Clark Conference tournament, the Osmond Tigers advanced past Homer, Winnebago and Wakefield to earn their first trip to the conference championship since the 1999-2000 season.

Osmond, at 18-1, had a rematch with the Bears of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (their sole loss of the season) in the title game, and defeated the Bears 81-64 to take home the conference championship. This is the first time the Tigers have won the championship since the 1981-82 season.

That game will be reported in next week’s Republican.
