Osmond youth wrestling tournament held Friday

OSMOND — The Osmond W.W.O. youth wrestling club held its annual tournament on Friday, Feb 22. This year there were 120 wrestlers competing from several area towns including Osmond, Pierce, Randolph, Plainview, Creighton, Laurel, Crofton, Hartington and Bloomfield. “This year we started practices a couple of weeks earlier than in the past and I could really see a difference,” commented Coach Larry McKenna. “The kids all wrestled really well. Most of the kids won at least one match and those who didn’t were still competitive and wrestled well.”
