David Schmit

Hello! My name is David Schmit and I am in my second year teaching here at Osmond Community School and am in my eighth year whdfklqj#dowrjhwkhu# +Úyh# |hduv# lq# Sioux City, two years at Wallace, NE). I was born, raised and went to school here at Osmond, so it is truly a gift to be able to be back home doing what I love doing. I currently teach Spanish 1, 2 and 3 as well as teaching seventh grade English and Reading and eighth grade English. My wife, Raelynn, and I have been married since July 28th, 2018. Some hobbies that I enjoy doing are anything sports related, especially basketball. I am starting my 13th year of umpiringAmerican Legion baseball this upcoming summer. I also enjoy spending time with family, attending any Husker sports events possible and continuing in acquiring my masters degree toward becoming a K-12 principal.
