Osmond students attend Doane 'festival'

CRETE — Doane Fall Festival of Winds was held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Doane University in Crete. Eight Osmond Community School students attended the honor band — Holly Jensen on percussion, Kaden Polt on trumpet, Austin Vinson on French horn, Alexander Heiman on tenor saxophone, Connor von Rentzell on tuba and Shyann Rohloff on bass clarinet, all a part of the Tiger Band under the direction of Dr. Larry Blochar; Diandra Polt on baritone saxophone and Allison Aschoff on clarinet made it into the auditioned Honor Band under the direction of Dr. Jay Gilbert.
