PIERCE — After a rough start to the season because of the weather, the girls’ junior high track team was able to compete at the Pierce meet on Monday, April 23.  It was a beautiful day that led to a lot of personal records. This meet was divided into two divisions.In Division I, there were several top six flnishes.  Kiera Moes jumped 4 ft., 2 in. in the high jump which led to a fourth-place flnish and a personal best.  Grace Gansebom also flnished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.4.  

Cali Gutz ran for the flrst time in the 1,600-meter run, flnishing in fourth place with a time of 6:20.78.  The 4x100-meter relay team, consisting of Grace Gansebom, Riley Wagner, Kiera Moes and Cali Gutz, ran for a time of 58.34 and placed third.  The 4x400-meter relay team of Grace Gansebom, Riley Wagner, Bailey Schmit and Cali Gutz also placed third with a time of 4:56.15.  Riley Wagner competed in the 400-meter dash, placing sixth with a personal best time of 1:11.39.
