Lady Tigers finish season against Bloomfield

(By Coach Jennifer Wiseley) The Osmond Lady Tigers played Bloomfield in subdistrict action and lost 2-3. They finished their season 1-18. That single stat does in no way define this year's team. When you Google the definition of success, you get a lot of answers. Google tells me that Zig Ziglar said that “success is comprised of many things.”

I believe that old Zig was right. Success is displaying leadership, adaptability and work ethic. All of which these girls exemplified every day.

Success can be found through perseverance. These girls persevered. The Bible says that perseverance builds character. Character and integrity they have in abundance.

Success is not giving up…and they never once did. We had so many blessings this year. We were able to watch Louisville, one of the top teams in the country, compete. We were able to spend our summer bonding and playing teams around the area. We were spoiled with treats from our great moms for every away game.

We were able to bond and form tight friendships. We were able to grow and learn. We live in a country where girls get to play and compete and it is safe to do so. We did not have a winning season, but we had a successful one. This team is full of very special kids. Osmond 15 22 25 25 11 = 2 Bloomfield 25 25 19 21 15 = 3
