Sheryl von Rentzell appointed to city clerk position

OSMOND — The Osmond City Council met Monday, March 11, for its regular meeting. During the meeting Sheryl von Rentzell was appointed to the position of Osmond City Clerk. Cindy Hoffman will continue her work as city treasurer.

OVR Business Detailed

Gary Van Meter talked about his involvement with the Osmond Venture Resources (OVR) group. He pointed out that two of the current key activities were 1) compiling a housing grant survey, writing the community development sections and organizing meetings for creation of a revolving loan fund for Osmond of up to $500,000; and, 2) the importance of the community to raise matching funds. Some $50,000 has already been pledged.
