Osmond city council discusses flood repair, floodplain ordinance
OSMOND — The Osmond City Council met Monday, July 8, at the city office with a number of items to be discussed.
Flood Repair, Ordinance Discussed
City Treasurer Cindy Hoffman reported that two engineering firms — Gilmore & Associates of Columbus and Miller & Associates of Kearney — declined the city’s request for qualifications for engineering services for Osmond’s flood repair project. JEO Consulting Group, Inc., was the only engineering firm that submitted a Qualifications for Engineering Services: 2019 Flood Damage Repair regarding FEMA flood repairs. Council members approved JEO’s submission of qualifications for services with a fee schedule to be made available at a later date.
