Next steps for local foundation to be discussed December 10; area residents encouraged to attend

OSMOND — Members of the Osmond Community Foundation met on Monday, Nov. 19, to finalize Osmond’s affiliation with the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) and make plans for the next steps in the process. Kara Weander-Gaster of the NCF was on hand to assist and to answer questions.

One of the first items discussed was the legal name of Osmond’s foundation, and it was agreed that “Osmond Community Foundation” is simple and has a nice “ring” to it, so that is the name that was adopted. Weander-Gaster was asked if the state organization has by-laws that can be used for Osmond’s foundation, and she said it does.
