New concession stand planned; clerk resigns

OSMOND — The Monday, Oct. 8, meeting of the Osmond City Council began with two hearings. The first one was to approve Ordinance 2018-6, New Subdivision Regulations Including Lot Splits. City Clerk-Treasurer Cindy Hoffman explained during a recent lot split request, state regulations had to be followed since Planning Administrator Heather McWhorter discovered Osmond’s zoning regulations did not address lot splits. McWhorter recommended Osmond have their own regulations and provided regulations that are in effect in the other cities and counties she works with.
