Lady Tigers, Falcons host annual Pink-Out tournament in Osmond

OSMOND — The Osmond Lady Tigers and the Elkhorn Valley Falcons volleyball teams again hosted their annual Pink Out Night in Osmond on Tuesday, Oct. 2. The Pink Out Night supports breast cancer awareness and serves as a fundraiser for breast cancer research. The two teams each wore pink jerseys to celebrate the night.

The girls raised $933.15 dollars by selling T-shirts. In the match, the Falcons defeated the Lady Tigers with a 25-16, 25-14, 25-12 performance. Overall, the Lady Tigers had several players who played well. Defensively, Kennedy Johnson passed the ball well. She had 10 digs. She also had a kill and a set assist. Elisa Herrera also played well defensively. She had seven digs. Haven Schultze added six digs and nine set assists. Schultze found hitters Makenzie Johnson (seven kills) and Madeline Huwaldt (five kills). Kiera Moes had a team-high two ace serves. Grace Gansebom had a kill, three set assists and four digs. Diandra Polt had four digs.
